The governor of Aguascalientes, Tere Jiménez, inaugurated the National Convention of Delegations, Sectors and Industrial Branches CANACINTRA 2024, which is being held in this state and which brings together entrepreneurs from all over the country.

“Welcome to Aguascalientes, feel at home; today you are in a safe state, with social peace and with great economic and industrial development. In this land we work every day so that our entrepreneurs and our families have the best conditions to grow and develop,” the governor told them.
Esperanza Ortega Azar, national president of CANACINTRA, thanked the governor for her hospitality and support so that this event could be held in Aguascalientes.
“We are in a beautiful and dynamic state to celebrate the greatness of our industry and to chart together the course and future of Mexico’s prosperity and progress. I thank the governor for her full and unrestricted support; her commitment to the development of the industry has allowed us to meet in a place that reflects the spirit of innovation and growth of Aguascalientes, a state with an industrial vocation that has demonstrated a solid economic performance; her leadership has been fundamental in attracting investment projects, both national and foreign, and developing the industry that Aguascalientes has today; I congratulate her for this tireless work for the benefit of the economic and social development of the Aguascalientes people,” he stressed.
He commented that CANACINTRA brings together 34 thousand companies from all over the country and reaffirmed the commitment of this organization to work with Aguascalientes: “Governor, count on CANACINTRA, our commitment is to help your government in promoting the competitiveness and productivity of each of the affiliated companies in this entity; thank you, governor, for being an ally of the national industry,” he said.
Ortega Azar presented the CANACINTRA eagle to Governor Tere Jiménez for her support of the industrial sector.
Also present at the meeting were Erika Muñoz Vidrio, executive president of the CANACINTRA delegation in Aguascalientes; Aurora Jiménez Esquivel, first volunteer and president of the State DIF; federal deputies Paulo Martínez López and Humberto Ambriz Delgadillo; Florentino Reyes Berlie, general secretary of the Government; Verónica González López, general director of the State Congress and Visitors Bureau; as well as members of national and local CANACINTRA, in addition to state officials, among other authorities.
