The governor of Colima, Indira Vizcaíno Silva, highlighted that, in addition to Manzanillo, the municipalities of Armería, Tecomán and Cuauhtémoc are ideal for developing industrial parks, joining the national project of 100 industrial parks promoted by President Claudia Sheinbaum. Colima has had approaches with interested businessmen, particularly in the automotive sector.
Armería and Tecomán have access to highways and railroads, while Cuauhtémoc has the capital’s airport. Vizcaíno stressed that Colima offers logistical and labor advantages, and the state government is committed to supporting investors to generate employment in the region.
