A man was executed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the Walmart supermarket located in Las Ánimas, all this in the capital of Puebla during the night of last Friday.
Once the crime was committed, the perpetrators managed to escape from the site, which gave way to the proceedings in the area, which continued around 11:00 p.m. on October 26.
What happened at Walmart Las Ánimas in Puebla?
On the night of October 26, a man was shot while entering aboard his white pickup truck to the Walmart branch, located between Atlixco Boulevard and the Juan Pablo II Circuit.
According to preliminary reports, the now deceased was already being pursued and his perpetrators managed to intercept him to shoot him multiple times.
When they realized that the victim was seriously injured, the criminals escaped to an unknown destination.
The perpetrators of the crime immediately fled the scene while the building’s staff contacted the emergency number to report the situation.
The driver of the unit was left dead behind the wheel. Meanwhile, personnel from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) and paramedics from the Advanced Medical Emergency System (SUMA) met in the area, although they could do nothing for the man.
It was the emergency technicians who confirmed the death of the driver, although up to this moment it has not been revealed if there were more injured people due to the shots fired moments before the murder.
During the night of Friday, personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Puebla also met in order to begin the legal investigations, as well as the removal of the body.
Also last Friday, but during the early hours of the afternoon, a woman was unable to escape from a group of armed men who were chasing her on the road to Valsequillo.
The group of subjects caught up with her near Santo Tomás Chautla, where she was wounded by a firearm.
The events took place after noon, where the victim was transferred to a hospital, although her health condition is serious.
Witness versions indicate that armed men were chasing a woman on said road. There she was traveling aboard a truck, while they managed to shoot her directly in the community of Santo Tomás Chautla.
People who were at the site and who saw the attack contacted the emergency number 911, which allowed the arrival of police and paramedics.
Paramedics reported that the woman still had signs of life, so she was urgently transferred to a hospital.
