As part of the program of activities “Oaxaca always lives, never dies 2024”, the City Council of Oaxaca de Juárez through the Secretariat of Tourism Promotion invites the general public to register for the traditional “Costume Contest”.
The activity, open and free of charge to the public, will take place next Thursday, October 31 at 4:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Danza.
According to the call, registrations will be open until Sunday, October 27 and registration is available through the link: https://qrco.de/bfSLMW
The economic prizes for the winners of the Costume Contest are: for first place 15 thousand pesos, second place may obtain the amount of 10 thousand pesos and third place may be entitled to an economic stimulus of 5 thousand pesos.
It should be noted that contestants may not participate dressed as Chucky, a witch, or any character from other cultures.

From October 30 to November 2, through the City Council of Oaxaca de Juárez, a series of completely free activities will be held that will highlight the cultural heritage of Oaxaca during the current Day of the Dead season.
