In order to promote the new Los Angeles-Manzanillo air connection, the Undersecretary of Tourism of the Government of the State of Colima offered a press conference at the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles, California, in the presence of authorities, airline executives, representatives of the hotel sector and media of the tourism sector in this area of the United States, an event where the Consul General of Mexico in Los Angeles, Ambassador Carlos González Gutiérrez, welcomed the guests.
The event was coordinated by Jazmín Galván, Consul for Tourism Promotion, where the Undersecretary of Tourism, Jorge Padilla Castillo, presented a promotional video of Colima and praised the main attractions of the state, highlighting the natural beauties of the port of Manzanillo, the Magical Town of Comala and the capital city, along with the attractions of the other seven municipalities of the entity.
The head of Subsectur highlighted the opportunities that these flights will bring for the tourist and economic growth of the state and the region. Also participating were Andrew J. Honsey, general manager of global sales for Delta Airlines; and Iván Vukov, director of sales for Aeroméxico in the USA, reaffirming the commitment of both airlines to promote the Colima destination.
