On Saturday night, there were some blockades on different stretches of highway to the north and south of Sinaloa, where reports of clashes were also received.
One of the blockades was on the Culiacán-Eldorado Highway, where a trailer was driven over and tires were thrown at the height of the municipality of Costa Rica, after a confrontation was reported a little further on, where at least two people were injured.
Meanwhile, on the Benito Juárez State Highway, which leads from Culiacán to Los Mochis, a blockade was reported at kilometer 94, at the height of the municipality of Angostura, with units set on fire.

The flames from the vehicles could be seen from afar, so highway users preferred to return to Culiacán or Los Mochis, for fear of being caught in the middle of the clashes.
The day of violence on Saturday ended with 10 people dead; three in the municipality of Navolato and seven in Culiacán, which adds up to 12 on Friday.
Among the victims is a person dismembered and left inside a cooler at the entrance to Parque Culiacán 87, south of the city, who was left with a warning message for the children of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán.
