Dogs bid farewell to their murdered veterinarian in Acapulco

Dogs, family and friends said their last goodbye to veterinarian Victor Robles Espinoza, who was killed this Friday in the port.

As reported by Quadratín Guerrero, the well-known veterinarian was shot to death on Friday morning in the Cumbres de Figueroa neighborhood after being deprived of his freedom in the port.

Since 2:30 p.m. this Sunday, nearly 200 people gathered to say goodbye to his body at the África veterinary clinic located in the Costa Azul subdivision where he treated his patients of all kinds of species.

The veterinarian’s body arrived at the medical office aboard a white van where he was already received by colleagues in his profession, friends and a long list of loyal clients who were waiting for him along with their pets to say their last goodbye and offer their condolences to their relatives.

During the ceremony, a long line of clients brought their dogs to the veterinarian’s coffin to give an emotional farewell to their lifelong doctor who had saved them from various illnesses.

The veterinarian’s widow, Vianka Lucero Torres Poedra, also arrived at the building. She thanked the people for their affection and the attention they have given her, and took the opportunity to invite everyone to pray for her late husband, which will begin this Monday.

During the farewell, there were several shouts of “justice” and “peace” from those in attendance, who lamented the loss of the veterinarian.

The coffin was taken to the Parroquia del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús church located in the same subdivision, where a funeral mass was held and then it was taken to the Valle de la Luz cemetery of Grupo Gayosso on the Acapulco-Mexico highway in the town of La Venta, where the burial would take place.
