A family of merchants from the municipality of Chilpancingo, Guerrero, was reported missing after they went to Chilapa to sell their products more than a week ago.
According to initial investigations, three men and three minors went out on Tuesday, October 22 to the community of Epazote, in the municipality of Chilapa, to sell dishes, but suddenly lost contact with their family.
On the 26th, two women, the mothers of the minors, accompanied by a man, left their community Chautipan, municipality of Chilpancingo to look for their relatives, but they also disappeared.
The missing persons are Alfonso Francisco Cabrera, 35 years old; José Enrique Francisco Cabrera, 26 years old, and Mario Francisco Millán, 49 years old. The missing minors are Diego Alfonso Sacristán, 16 years old; Leandro Geovanni Francisco Sacristán, 14 years old, and Raymundo Santos Francisco, 13 years old.
The missing women are Flor Itulia Cabrera, 53 years old, and Clara Francisco Cabrera, 30 years old. Witnesses say they saw them in the community of Tlanicuilulco, in the municipality of Quechultenengo. With them was Héctor Santos De la Cruz, 32 years old. The identity of the tenth person is unknown.
Regarding these events, the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guerrero reported that through the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Forced Disappearance and Search for Missing Persons, an investigation file was opened for the crime of disappearance committed by private individuals against ten people in the central region.
The Homologated Investigation Protocol for the Search for Missing Persons has already been activated, issuing search forms and implementing actions to achieve the prompt location of persons reported missing.
