The Walk of Souls in Tulum brought together families and tourists to honor the deceased with candles, incense and traditional Mayan music, despite the rain.
The director of the House of Culture, Hugo Villagómez, expressed his emotion at seeing the community participation in this tradition. The municipal president, Diego Castañón, invited to continue the celebrations:
“From October 31 to November 2, we await you at the Municipal Palace for the Hanal Pixán with altars, music and activities for the whole family.”
