
On Monday night, in a Durango hotel restaurant, a man began to feel ill and died, apparently due to a heart problem, when he was taken to receive medical attention.
At around 9:00 p.m., in a restaurant at the hotel located on Heroico Colegio Militar Avenue and Negrete Street, Jaakola Juha Klaevi, originally from Finland, was having dinner when at one point he began to feel a strong pain in his chest.
Hotel and restaurant staff called the emergency number, where emergency medical technicians from the Red Cross took him to La Paz Hospital.
At the time the hospital doctors performed the admission evaluation, the man fell into cardiac arrest, from which human efforts were useless and he lost his life.
The deceased traveled to Durango for work at the Cosicab company.
Personnel from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Durango took note and took charge of the body, as well as the corresponding procedures for the delivery of the body to his relatives.
