Tamaulipas traditions represented at the “Cempasúchil” Festival in celebration of the Day of the Dead in N.L.

The Tamaulipas Representation in Nuevo León participated with high levels of audience in the Day of the Dead Festival “A Cempasúchil” General Terán 2024, held on November 1 in said Nuevolon municipality.

Beatriz del Cos, representative of the Government of Tamaulipas in Nuevo León, pointed out that a good influx of visitors was registered at the state stand during the event. “The “Cempasúchil” festival in General Terán, “was an invaluable platform to connect with the Tamaulipas people who do not reside in the metropolitan area of ​​the state of Nuevo León, to strengthen contact with those who live in this region, and it allows us to bring together and share, not only the richness of our culture and traditions, but also advice and information on programming and available support.”

During this event, Beatriz del Cos and the team of the Representation were accompanied by the mayor of General Terán, David Quintanilla and his wife, Cecilia García, who were present at the festival, offering their support and hospitality to the Tamaulipas representation.

This meeting reinforces Tamaulipas’ commitment to offer personalized attention and strengthen ties with the Tamaulipas community in Nuevo León.

At the close of the “Cempasúchil” festival in General Terán, Beatriz del Cos highlighted the importance of continuing to celebrate the values ​​that unite the citizens of Tamaulipas and Nuevo León as a region.
