Just a few days before the start of the “The City of Jazz” Festival, this morning authorities and organizers of the event met in the Heritage City to present the 2024 edition, which will have the theme “Sounds of Water”.
This year, an alliance was made with the Potable Water and Sewerage System (SAPASMA) to promote a culture of care, use and responsible use of water in the San Miguel territory, through the consolidated musical festival, which will take place from November 14 to 17 in the Main Garden.
The program of “The City of Jazz” will include a series of free concerts with international jazz exponents, including Lucía Gutiérrez, Gipsy Kings and Concha Buika, who will be accompanied by a Jazz Big Band.
“Sonidos del Agua”, a campaign that will frame this third edition of the festival, will also feature the stellar presentation of a local group recently formed during the “San Miguel Jazz Alliance” project.
The municipality, which is recognized for being a tourist destination par excellence, seeks to join global efforts to promote environmental responsibility through activities of cultural value and appeal not only for locals, but also for visitors who will be in the city for the November 20th long weekend.
