The International Cervantino Festival will come to San Miguel de Allende through the screenings of some of the shows presented during its 2024 edition. The El Sindicato Community Cultural Center will have these presentations from November 7 to 19.
With the screenings of some of the most striking shows of the FIC such as: La Guelaguetza, the Amalia Hernández Folkloric Ballet, the Great Ensemble of Oaxacan Bands, Eugenia León and the Carlos Chávez Orchestra, El Sindicato brings the International Cervantino Festival closer to the people of San Miguel.
The series of presentations will begin on Thursday, November 7 with the screening of the show by Comuneros del Viento de Santa María Tlahioltepec, which is an Oaxacan group dedicated to keeping the circus tradition of the Mixe region alive and participated in the FIC on October 16.
In total, there are nine shows that will be projected in the cultural center for free and with which attendees will be able to relive the excitement of the Cervantino in its 52nd edition, which had Brazil and Oaxaca as guests of honor.
The presentations will take place at 7 p.m. in its facilities located on Recreo Street No. 4 in the historic center of the municipality, and will be open to both locals and visitors.
