A couple of deers seen wandering the streets of the Magical Town of Tequila, in the Colinas del Rosario and Centro neighborhoods of the municipality, caused a great stir, where they surprised residents and visitors. The unusual appearance of these animals in an urban area generated astonishment among the inhabitants, who did not hesitate to capture the moment on video.
Two of the deers were observed at the intersection of Francisco I. Madero and Campesino streets, where the residents, between astonished and worried, recorded them while they wandered. One of the deers was brown, while the other, white, showed signs of being scared.
Unknown about its origin
In one of the videos spread on social networks, one of the deers can be seen running along Francisco I. Madero street while being closely followed by an ATV from which an occupant was recording it.
So far, authorities have not issued an official statement on the incident or explained how the deer got to this urban area. Although the municipality of Tequila is close to the Barranca de Tequila, this is the first time that the presence of deer has been reported in the area, which has raised questions among residents about whether the animals could have escaped from a nearby place or if they come from a protected area.
