The Ministry of Mobility will renew and restructure the Qrobici system at the beginning of 2025

Querétaro’s Qrobici system will be renewed starting in the first quarter of 2025, with improvements that include the incorporation of new bicycles and stations, reported Pedro Ángeles Luján, Secretary of Mobility of the municipality.

He explained that the objective is to increase the fleet of bicycles, adding electric bicycles to the current 450 mechanical units, which will allow reaching a total of 600 bicycles available for users.

In addition, improvements will be implemented in the system’s mobile application, in order to guarantee that the stations are always available and optimize the user experience.

“A modification is being planned, an improvement to this system for next year, the issue of the application, mainly that the stations are always available and a specific issue (…) we are thinking that in the first quarter of next year we will already start this new infrastructure,” he said.

The increase in bicycles will also imply an increase in the number of stations, some of which will be relocated to improve connectivity with other means of transport, such as the Qrobús system.

Ángeles Luján indicated that a detailed analysis of the system has already been carried out, and that in the coming months the infrastructure expansion will be carried out, with the aim of offering a better service to the people of Querétaro.
