The municipal president Diego Castañón, presented this Tuesday at a press conference the Tulum Half Marathon 2024. Diego Castañón highlighted that the Tulum Half Marathon 2024 is an opportunity to promote sports and health in the community, in addition to attracting visitors who seek to experience the magic of Tulum in a unique way.
The Tulum Half Marathon 2024 will be run next Sunday, December 1 at 6 a.m., leaving from the Esplanade of the Municipal Palace, passing the runners through the Jaguar Park and ending in the Archaeological Zone.
The Municipal President detailed that the Half Marathon will have three levels: 21.0975 kilometers, 10 kilometers and 5 kilometers, as well as a 3-kilometer recreational walk. The age categories range from Youth (15-19) to Veteran Plus (60 years and older). Registration is now open at a cost of 450 pesos, and runners’ kits will be delivered on November 30 at the Municipal Palace. Diego Castañón announced a prize pool of 170 pesos, which will be distributed among the winners of the different categories and distances.
