Veracruz has 8 Magical Towns, which were recognized as such, thanks to their symbolic attributes, legends, history, transcendent events and daily life, which are a great opportunity for the tourist and economic development of the state.
Three of these 8 Magical Towns are close, less than an hour away and are located in the central mountainous region of Veracruz. These are Orizaba, Córdoba and Coscomatepec, perfect tourist destinations that can fit into your weekend itinerary and enjoy the long weekend.
The municipalities of Córdoba and Orizaba are the closest to each other, just from one Magical Town to another you will spend approximately 35 to 40 minutes by vehicle. Between these municipalities, but 10 minutes further away, to the north, is Coscomatepec.
