The number of international passengers has registered a 64.1% growth at Querétaro International Airport in Mexico.

The number of international passengers has increased from 303,962 users between January and September of 2023 to 498,942 international travelers in the same period of 2024, according to the records of SICT, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation.

Thus, the movement of international passengers at the airport contributed to the double-digit increase that the airport presented in the total flow of travelers, compared to the single-digit variation experienced by domestic transfers.

The 64.1% annual increase in international passenger traffic between January and September 2024 is higher than the 24.6% annual variation recorded by that segment in the same period in 2023.

In the first nine months of this year, the airport registered 979,260 domestic passengers, recording an increase of 1.9% compared to the 961,433 domestic passengers in the same period in 2023.

In all, from January to September 2024 the airport accumulated 1,478,202 passengers in total, experiencing an annual growth of 16.8%, while in 2024 it mobilized 1,265,395 passengers.
