The organizing committee of the “Sustainable Rally 2024” has announced that registration is now open for this event, which will take place on Saturday, November 30, at the Amphitheater of Fuerte San Felipe in Bacalar.
During a press conference, it was revealed that registration is free and will remain open until Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The event is limited to 15 teams, each consisting of five members. Participants must be at least 16 years old, with at least one team member being an adult who will serve as the team leader. Each team must include at least two women, and all participants must be in good health to perform physical activities.
Erwin Adame, director of the Business Development and Marketing program at the Technological University of Chetumal, highlighted that this is the fourth edition of the Sustainable Rally, which has seen growing participation and public attendance each year. The “Sustainable Rally 2024” is organized by the MIA Sustainable Foundation in collaboration with students from the Technological University of Chetumal, the Secretariat of Ecology and Environment of the State of Quintana Roo (SEMA), the Alak Bacalar Civil Association, the Bacalar City Council, and the Quintana Roo Youth Institute (IQJ).
This year’s event will feature a prize pool of eight thousand pesos, to be distributed among the top three teams: four thousand pesos for first place, three thousand pesos for second place, and one thousand pesos for third place. The rally will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, and will last approximately three hours.
