During the last long weekend of the year, recorded from November 16 to 18, Jalisco received an estimated 758 thousand tourists.
The destinations with the greatest influx were Guadalajara with 438 thousand visitors and Puerto Vallarta with more than 144 thousand.
The estimated occupancy percentage in the main tourist destinations of Jalisco was 80 percent in Puerto Vallarta and 68 percent in Guadalajara.
The entity received an estimated two billion pesos as economic spillover in the tourism sector, during the week of November 11 to 17, within the framework of the last long weekend of the year, eight percent more than the same period last year, according to preliminary estimates of the State Tourism Information System.
