Three vehicle accidents occurred during the early hours of Thursday, between 1:40 and 5:49, on the stretch of highway from kilometer 186 to 208 of the Hermosillo-Guaymas highway, all with unusual characteristics.
Francisco Ramírez, deputy director of Firefighters, expressed surprise at the events: the first involved the rollover of a 2016 model Nissan pickup truck, in which no occupants were found. The second was a 2014 Toyota sedan with Arizona license plates, where the driver was ejected from the vehicle, suffering multiple injuries. The third incident involved a 2013 model trailer that was transporting furniture, with its driver injured.
“They should check what happened there; it could be a coincidence or something was spilled in the area. It would be good for the authorities to check the conditions because these types of incidents are not common,” said the official.
Ramírez said he cannot recall a similar situation in recent years, where three rollovers occurred in such a short distance and in such a short period of time.
