After Morena deputy José Luis García Parra accepted to be Cabinet Coordinator for Governor-elect Alejandro Armenta Mier, Gabriela Chumacero will take his place, being the first transgender legislator to assume the position in the Congress of Puebla.
Armenta Mier said that on November 25, the legislator submitted the request for leave to be put to a vote next Thursday, November 28, during the session and approved by the deputies so that it comes into effect on December 1.
“If he (García) presents his leave, Samuel would have to take the oath, but in this case Samuel is appointed, then Chumacero Rodríguez would assume this responsibility,” said the next governor.
For his part, García Parra added that being Cabinet Coordinator will have the purpose of being an articulator between the departments.
In addition to ensuring through supervision and monitoring, the evaluation of agreements, guidelines and programs, so that the public policies of the State government are being carried out efficiently and the goals and objectives are met.
