The director of Tourism of Tampico, Karime Cámara Chaín, reported that the Christmas fair in Tampico will be held from December 7 to January 6, 2025.
“We will have the mechanical games and the little cabins of the Christmas Village, which will be more than 10, and a gastronomic area, also the lighting of the Christmas tree, everything will be from December 7.”
They are working on the agenda of events towards 2025
She mentioned that they are already working on the agenda for 2025, and at the end of the year an event is planned to commemorate the birthday of the film actor, Mauricio Garcés, a native of Tampico.
“The idea is to have festivals all year round and the dates of Carnival, Holy Week and the celebration of the Virgin of Carmen, all scheduled, in such a way that the festivities that attract tourism to this southern area of Tamaulipas will continue, as directed by Mayor Monica Villarreal,” said the director of Tourism in Tampico.
It should be noted that the municipality of Tampico attracted 1.1 million tourists this year in different months, the strongest being Holy Week and summer vacations. However, in December the arrival of tourists who come to visit relatives to spend the December holidays with them or to rest on the weekends is also expected.
The city has an important offer of places to visit such as museums, restaurants, the historic center and lagoons with attractions such as the fair and the Christmas Village, which will be set up the following weekend.
