For the Secretary of Economic Development of the government of the state of Oaxaca, Raúl Ruiz Robles, it will take five years to consolidate companies that begin to operate in the Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec.
In an interview, the official reiterated that “we estimate that we are talking about five years to consolidate companies that settle in the Interoceanic Corridor.”
He added that the process of building infrastructure is underway, along with a process where companies evaluate the conditions that exist for them to come and settle in Oaxaca.
“We have everything guaranteed together with the (Secretariat of) the Navy and within the Development Poles, well, those lands, those properties, well, they already belong to the concessionaires,” he said.
Ruiz Robles said that they held a meeting with representatives of the Danish Embassy, and a memorandum of understanding was signed with the company Siemens Energy, which is interested in setting up in the Interoceanic Corridor.
“The concessionaires are making their executive projects and we are giving them support to tell them that in Oaxaca we have all the conditions for investment,” he commented.
The head of the SDE said that they are supporting the Elax company in the 10 billion dollars that are planned to be invested in Oaxaca for the production of green hydrogen, for which they are visiting other states and other countries to invite them to be part of the CIIT.
