120 panic buttons go into operation in Puerto Vallarta

In order to reinforce security in key points of the city, 120 panic buttons were put into operation, which immediately link to the municipal police station. These devices are georeferenced, so that when the button is pressed, the Police Station has the reference to be able to know where it is and, immediately, the camera is activated to observe what is happening in the place.

The devices also have solar cells so that they can be powered permanently and operate independently 365 days a year, thanks to the fact that everything is transmitted through microwaves.

This is an investment of 39 million pesos that was contributed by Fortamum (Fund for the Strengthening of Municipalities and Territorial Demarcations of the Federal District) to the previous administration and that is now active in the city.
