This Friday, Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros presented awards for Tlaxcala artisanal merit, the winners were from various municipalities.
Tlaxcala crafts are already present in the best tourist places in Mexico, where a good economy is concentrated and currently transcends borders.
Since the beginning of the current government, greater importance has been given to the artisan sector, it was the goal set by the state leader to give it the value it really deserves; therefore, the current government has worked in each of the 12 artisanal branches in the state, highlighted Saúl Pérez Bravo, director of Casa de las Artesanías de Tlaxcala (CAT).
He added that the state administration headed by Cuéllar Cisneros has invested a budget of more than 12.8 million pesos, reaching a direct economic impact of 16.7 million pesos in favor of seven thousand 760 artisans from the 12 artisanal branches.
