Christmas is lit up in Morelia! Squares and streets are lit up for the December season

The mayor of Morelia, Alfonso Martínez Alcázar, officially turned on the lights of the December festivities in Morelia, with the inauguration of the spectacular Ice Rink in the center of the city and the lighting of plazas, avenues and public spaces.

Tonight, Morelians and authorities went to the intersection of Madero and Morelos avenues, where the mayor, Alfonso Martínez and the president of the DIF of Morelia, Paola Delgadillo Hernández, turned on the switch after 8 pm that illuminated one million 800 thousand lights placed in various points of the Historic Center of the capital.

Later, the official inauguration of the Ice Rink in the Plaza Melchor Ocampo took place, which consists of a free-access family space with capacity to receive 180 people simultaneously on an area of ​​more than 500 square meters where fun is guaranteed for children and adults.

The rink will be open from Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays, it will be open until 9:00 p.m.

In particular, on December 24 and 31, there will only be morning hours, and on December 25 and January 1, users will be received in the afternoon.

It is worth remembering that access to the best-located Ice Rink in the country is completely free, you just need to arrive in advance to request access and enjoy this unique space.
