Because the celebrations increase during the Christmas season, the municipality of San Nicolás began operations on its main avenues, in order to reduce the number of road accidents caused by the driver being under the influence of alcohol.
Mayor Daniel Carrillo said that these incidents have decreased by 50 percent, and they hope that the number will continue to decrease with these operations, but how much is the fine for driving in that state? Here we leave you the information for all the municipalities.
On avenues such as Rómulo Garza, Barragán, Universidad and all these corridors there will be surveillance. From this Thursday, December 5th until next Sunday, January 5th.
“We ask all neighbors and citizens in general not to drive drunk and enjoy the holidays, remember that someone is waiting for us at home.”
These operations will continue during the weekends until 08:00 hours, in different places, with the objective of covering most of the municipality.
He also mentioned that the cost of the fines that are being placed in the municipality are 8 thousand pesos for incomplete drunkenness, however, in case of a repeat offense or complete drunkenness it can reach 65 thousand pesos with withdrawal of license.
“Depending on this, we will arrive at 08:00 hours on the weekend, on main avenues, especially the entrance corridors, Churubusco, Los Ángeles, Rómulo Garza is another of the avenues, Barragán and Universidad, Nogalar, Fidel Velázquez, they are practically the most important and the borders from Sendero to República Mexicana,” he explained.
There are around 100 elements that will be participating, so Carrillo urged citizens not to put their integrity or that of others at risk, as well as asked for respect and empathy from those who participate in social media groups where they warn of the location of said operations.
