Dates of the pastorelas in the different theaters of Querétaro this 2024
The 2024 Pastorelas Season is one of the most anticipated aspects during the Christmas season in Querétaro. This year, 15 local theater companies will offer a total of 60 performances from December 6 to 22. The performances will take place in various spaces in the municipality, which include 10 performances in facilities of the Ministry of Culture and 50 more in delegations and neighborhoods, as part of the celebrations of the traditional posadas.

The theater companies that participate in this extensive program of pastorelas include renowned groups in Querétaro, most of them located in the downtown area of the city. On average, the artists who collaborate in these theater groups have up to 18 years of professional experience and develop performing activities, mainly in theater, dance, music and film, although they also highlight secondary disciplines such as painting, drawing and cultural management.

The performances take place at Calle 5 de Mayo number 77, in the Historic Center of Querétaro. The dates to see it are from December 6 to 25 (except the 24th) and will continue in January, with times at 9:00 p.m.
If you have more traditional tastes, an excellent option is the staging of Cómicos de la Legua with their Traditional Queretana Pastorela. With more than 40 years on the billboard, this pastorela is a key piece in the Christmas cultural offer of Querétaro. The performances will be from December 13 to 30 and in January from December 1 to 18, at 9:00 p.m. at Guillermo Prieto number 7, Centro Histórico.
Lastly, PastorelaMente is the original proposal of Jaja Teatro, whose plot is based on the universe of emotions of IntensaMente. The performances of this pastorela are at Gutiérrez Nájera number 22, Local 8. You will have the opportunity to enjoy this staging with your family from December 5 to 30, at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., depending on the day.
