Mexican Air Force transports eight tons of humanitarian aid to Chiapas

This Thursday, the Mexican Air Force (FAM) transported eight tons of humanitarian aid destined for the communities of the municipality of Pantelhó, Chiapas, as part of the social support work carried out by the Army, the Air Force and the National Guard.

The food supplies come from the strategic reserve of the Military Strategic Collection Center of the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA), located at Military Air Base No. 1 in Santa Lucía, Tecámac, State of Mexico. The aid was transported in two CASA C-295 aircraft that took off for the Tuxtla Gutiérrez International Airport, Chiapas.

These actions reflect the commitment of the security institutions to support the most needy communities in the country.

Accumulated support in December

With this shipment, there are already 1,323 food supplies distributed in the region during December. These food supplies are delivered directly to the inhabitants of Pantelhó by personnel from the Mexican Army and the National Guard.

In addition to the transfer of humanitarian aid, the armed forces and the National Guard will continue to carry out activities to guarantee well-being, peace and security in the area, in coordination with the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB).
