An armed attack left two men dead and two people injured, including a woman, in the Lomas de Mazatlán subdivision on Wednesday night.
The attack occurred between Sierra Venados and Sierra San Francisco streets, where witnesses reported gunshots to the 911 emergency number.
Upon arriving at the scene, Municipal Police officers confirmed that two men had died from gunshot wounds.
Two injured people were also found in the area, one of them a woman, who were treated by paramedics from the Veteran Firefighters of Mazatlán and taken to a hospital for medical attention.
The State Attorney General’s Office took control of the investigation, cordoned off the area to remove the bodies and collect evidence to clarify the crime.
Authorities have not released details about those responsible or the motive for the attack.
