Eduardo Ramírez orders in Chiapas to cancel concessions linked to crime

The governor of Chiapas, Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar, stressed that he has instructed the Transportation Secretariat of his government to, with the collaboration and investigation of the state Attorney General’s Office, cancel all concessions that are linked to crime.

The Morena state leader stressed, from his social network X, that the law will be applied, so he has requested the cooperation of the local Attorney General’s Office to carry out the necessary investigations and to get to the bottom of the consequences with those responsible and the owners of the vehicles.

In this way, Ramírez Aguilar assured that the security actions that he put in place since the beginning of his government are reinforced to seek to restore peace in the towns and on the roads of Chiapas and provide greater protection to people.

For this reason, among other actions, this weekend the security forces reestablished free transit and put order on the roads of Comitán, in the state’s border area, where some groups of people tried to block their way with blockades to prevent searches from being carried out.

Governor Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar said that in this operation he instructed the unrestricted application of the law, because “enough of impunity for crimes that harm the people of Chiapas.”

Finally, he specified that in Chiapas “the law is not negotiable. There is authority and there will be order; the times when they did what they wanted are over.”
