13 police officers arrested in Veracruz for the crime of forced disappearance

This day, 13 state police officers were arrested accused of the crime of forced disappearance against six people in Veracruz, confirmed the State Attorney General’s Office.

In a police operation, elements of the Ministerial Police executed the arrest warrant after 11 male and two female police officers were summoned to the police academy.

Among those arrested are: José Manuel “N” and José Rosalino “N”, accused of harming three victims whose identity is being kept secret.

Martín de Jesús “N”, Benjamín “N”, Francisco “N”, Sandra Anayeli “N”, Alfredo Irán “N, Óscar “N”, Luis Gerardo “N”, Miguel Ángel “N”, Adriana Yamilet “N” and Juan Daniel “N”, against two victims and Andrés “N”, accused of harming one victim.

Those involved will be brought before the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Attention of Complaints of Missing Persons, in initial hearings before control judges and oral criminal proceedings in Pacho Viejo, Cosamaloapan and Coatzacoalcos, where their legal situation will be defined.
