Compatriots on board a pickup truck with Arizona license plates were involved in a spectacular road accident.
The incident occurred on Saturday night at the intersection of the Casas Grandes and Santa Teresa highways.
According to preliminary information from the authorities, the truck had entered through the Santa Teresa intersection heading towards the Chihuahua highway.
At the intersection with the Casas Grandes highway, the driver of the gray Ford F150 ignored the stop sign and cut off the driver of a trailer.
Two passengers in the truck were injured and the unit, which was loaded with various items, was a total loss.
Paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross, accompanied by the Heroic Fire Department, arrived to carry out rescue actions, since the two passengers of the pickup truck were trapped between the twisted irons.
The National Highway Guard was in charge of carrying out the expert appraisal and determining responsibilities.
