The Expo Artesanal Nuestra Identidad, Nuestra Cultura (Our Identity, Our Culture) closed with a flourish by presenting the catwalk of typical clothing of the indigenous peoples, highlighting the cultural wealth in the Magical Neighborhood of Xallitic in Xalapa.
For three days, this emblematic space became a showcase of unique pieces from all regions of the state, to make visible the value of the work and talent of the hands of Veracruz.
As part of the strategy of Governor Rocío Nahle García to consolidate Veracruz as a destination of high cultural and heritage value, the event was organized in collaboration with indigenous communities, strengthening ties with traditions.
Through initiatives such as this, the Ministry of Culture promotes not only the beauty of our traditions, but also the generation of jobs and the dignification of artisanal work, guaranteeing that these cultural expressions remain alive for future generations.
