Starting next Monday, January 6, the mobile module of the Public Vehicle Registry, Repuve, will resume its activities in the attention of appointments for the regularization of used vehicles of foreign origin, reported Benjamín González Caballero.
He pointed out that based on the schedule that is in place to give continuity to the federal government program, the mobile unit will be receiving the entire state.
“In the month of January, on January 6, we will begin to work in Cananea, later we will go to the south in Navojoa, Guaymas and Cajeme; and then, after that we will come to Hermosillo or continue in some other municipality in the north; I would consider that since it will be every week, we would be talking about mid-February when we would perhaps be back here in Hermosillo, we will see if we stay one or two weeks.”
Registration Dates for Vehicles of Foreign Origin Will Be Maintained
Gonzalez Caballero said that for the regularization of “chocolate” cars the same operating rules are maintained, with an entry date before October 19, 2021.
He pointed out that despite the fact that the number of appointments has decreased considerably, by presidential decree the program will remain in effect until September 30, 2026.
“There are very few cars being registered, we continue with the same operating rules that we have been applying since the decree began. We will be regularizing per municipality on average between 20 and 25 vehicles at most, the truth is.”
