This measure seeks to inspect vehicles and people to locate possible carriers of firearms and consult records on the Mexico Platform.
The Secretary of Public Security, Oscar Galvan Villarreal, in an official statement, said that this operation is part of a joint strategy to guarantee tranquility in the border areas of both states.

The Attorney General’s Office installed a checkpoint in Valle de Zaragoza, while several units patrol different stretches of highway
The actions focus on key traffic points where there is greater vehicular and pedestrian flow.
Among the main tasks of the agents involved is the inspection of cars and the identification of people through national databases, which will allow them to detect possible suspects or vehicles related to criminal activities.
These measures are also aimed at reducing illegal arms trafficking and other crimes.
The operation includes the participation of elements of the State Police as the sole command of the Municipal Directorate.
