President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo explained how the national social network proposed by former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador is progressing, who repeatedly showed his annoyance against X, formerly Twitter, owned by Elon Musk.

In her morning conference this Friday, January 3, at the National Palace, Sheinbaum Pardo said that the development of this national platform “is a task for several institutions.”

“I am going to find out what happened with President López Obrador, and now the digital transformation agency should be one of his tasks,” said the President.

It should be noted that in 2021 former President López Obrador proposed creating a national social network to avoid censorship like in the United States.
