A Control Judge has charged three taxi drivers with drug dealing and assaulting a tourist, following evidence provided by the State Attorney General’s Office.
The accused, identified as José Alberto “N”, Alberto Daniel “N”, and Bryan “N”, allegedly intimidated a tourist to force him to cancel a transport service requested from a digital platform. This incident was reported in a video that circulated on social media.
The three taxi drivers were arrested by Investigation Police officers, who found narcotics during a search.
After the constitutional term was fulfilled, the Control Judge ordered José Alberto “N”, Alberto Daniel “N”, and Bryan “N” to stand trial for crimes against health in the form of drug dealing for supply purposes. They were placed under preventive detention for two years or the duration of the trial.
