In the state of Colima, members of the National Guard carry out security, crime prevention and proximity patrols, with the aim of maintaining public order and strengthening ties with citizens.
Personnel from this public security force carry out patrols in public squares, commercial areas and parks in the municipalities of Colima, Villa de Álvarez, Coquimatlán, Cuauhtémoc, Tecomán, Armería and Manzanillo.
With these activities, which are part of the proximity actions of the National Guard, they seek to understand the needs of citizens in terms of security, maintain public order and promote the culture of reporting.
During the interaction with citizens, residents and visitors are invited to use the 088 citizen service telephone number, where reports are received and complaints of possible crimes are channeled.
The National Guard reaffirms its commitment to contribute to the projects implemented by the Government of Mexico, to guarantee the peace and security of the population.
