If you are a resident of San Miguel de Allende, remember that it is time to catch up on your property tax payment, a fundamental procedure for the development and maintenance of the city. In addition, to help the people of San Miguel, there is no increase in the fee for this 2025.
It should be remembered that the mayor, Mauricio Trejo, since his last administration promised not to increase the property tax payment, which would be the fourth consecutive year that he complies and benefits the pockets of the people of San Miguel by not increasing the payment.
All owners who have a property have the obligation to make their contribution to the property tax, this with the purpose that this contribution is translated into benefits of basic services and improve the quality of life of citizens such as security, lighting, surveillance, protection services, pruning, attention to water leaks, social support, order and new streets, among others.
The property tax will not increase this year 2025, which represents additional support for families in San Miguel de Allende. In addition to the support, there are special discounts for early payment: January: 15% discount and February: 10% discount.

- Municipal Administrative Building
At the Revenue Offices, you can make your payment from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is one of the most convenient points if you prefer to do it in person.
- Municipal Palace
If it is more convenient for you, you can also go to the License Plate Offices at the Municipal Palace, with hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Online payments
If you don’t have time to attend in person, don’t worry! Online payment is available for your convenience. You can make it from anywhere by visiting the official portal of the municipality.
