The Government of the State of Nayarit, through the General Directorate of Citizen Protection and Firefighters, informs the population about the current sea conditions on the beaches of the entity.
In the municipality of Compostela, the beaches of Los Ayala, Guayabitos and Chacala are under a yellow flag. This means that access to the sea is permitted, but extreme caution is recommended due to the conditions of the area.
In San Blas, the first, second and third sections of Las Islitas beach are marked with a green flag, indicating that the sea conditions are safe and favorable for water activities. However, Las Brujas beach and the Nuevo Muelle de San Blas have a yellow flag, so caution should be taken when entering the sea.
In Bahía de Banderas, the beaches Villa Varadero, Fibba, Etcétera and Destiladeras are marked with a yellow flag. Bathers are advised to be careful when entering the water. In addition, citizens are invited to enjoy the beaches with the presence of Nayarit Lifeguards, who provide security in coastal areas.
