Throughout January, Michoacán residents can enjoy a 10% discount on the 2025 vehicle renewal fee, provided they are up to date with their vehicle procedures. This discount is available for online payments made using credit or debit cards, as reported by the Ministry of Finance and Administration.
Eligibility for the Discount
To qualify for the 10% discount, residents must have completed their 2024 vehicle renewal payments.
Cost of Vehicle Renewal
The standard fee for the 2025 vehicle renewal is $1,142 pesos. With the 10% discount, the fee is reduced to $1,028 pesos. This discount is valid until January 31.
Government Donation
Secretary of Finance Navarro García announced that the Government of Michoacán will donate $10 pesos to the Red Cross for each renewal processed by the state agency.
How to Pay the 2025 Renewal Fee Online
To pay the 2025 renewal fee online, visit the Michoacán Digital Refrendo page. Enter the vehicle’s license plate and serial number, then generate payment orders or pay directly using a credit or debit card. Note that you must be current with all vehicle procedures up to 2024 to generate payment orders.
