Trailer overturns on the Durango-Mazatlán highway, causing intermittent traffic closure

An accident that occurred on Sunday afternoon caused a temporary closure in both directions of the Durango-Mazatlán highway, at kilometer 148+500, on the Lázaro Cárdenas-Villa Unión section.

The incident was caused by the overturning of a trailer, which caused significant congestion in the area. Caminos y Puentes Federales (Capufe) alerted drivers through its social networks, recommending the use of alternate routes and asking for special caution when driving through the affected area.

Although it had initially been reported that traffic would be reestablished intermittently, the work to remove the vehicle and the presence of the crane forced the partial closure to be maintained for a longer time.

Currently, traffic in both directions is carried out intermittently, so the authorities ask drivers to follow the road signs and drive with caution.
