Due to the alert that has been generated in the Durango territory regarding the drop in temperatures that will be experienced in the next few hours, an operation circulated through the streets of the capital with the aim of providing support to people who live on the streets.
Starting at 10:00 p.m., elements of the State Police, National Guard, Municipal DIF and the State Coordinator of Civil Protection, carried out the tour of different areas of the city.
Divided into three cells, they covered more territory, where approximately 55 people were attended to and invited to a temporary shelter, of which only seven accepted the proposal and were transferred to the Jornaleros shelter, located in the Acereros subdivision.
The homeless people and those who needed it received hot food, blankets and medical attention.
The plan of the aforementioned authorities is to continue with these tours on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; days in which temperatures below zero are expected and with a probability of rain.
