The Solidaridad City Hall is taking action to recover a property that has been irregularly occupied by a private company selling second-hand hotel items. The unauthorized occupation of this land, located next to Rafael Kantún Chi Elementary School and Augusto Sosa Centeno Kindergarten, poses a risk to the physical safety of children.
Municipal representative José Agustín Aguilar Méndez reported that parents alerted authorities to the situation. The property, approximately 100 square meters in size, is situated at the intersection of Avenida Misión del Carmen and Boulevard Villamar in the Villamar subdivision. Legal proceedings and negotiations will commence soon.
Aguilar Méndez clarified that the issue is not one of dispossession but of temporary possession. However, the situation is causing harm to third parties and endangering children’s safety, prompting the City Hall to intervene and resolve the conflict.
