The Governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, inaugurated the largest linear park in Mexico in the municipality of Rioverde. This is part of his comprehensive strategy to promote tourism in the four regions of San Luis Potosí and strengthen the network of state parks.
This park, called “Rioverde, the capital of the world”, is presented as a new recreational option for families in San Luis Potosí and is positioned as a new attraction for nature tourism in the Middle region.
Urban infrastructure approved
The event, held from the La Cofradía bridge in Rioverde, Ricardo Gallardo reaffirmed his commitment to the development of spaces for recreation and the well-being of children and adolescents, seeking to keep them away from addictions and promoting a better quality of life through the strengthening of family and community ties.
The event was attended by local families who expressed their gratitude for this new urban infrastructure.
With an investment of 65 million pesos, the linear park is integrated into the modern network of state parks in San Luis Potosí, which Governor Gallardo has worked to modernize and expand throughout the four regions of the state. This new space, located on the banks of the Río Verde, not only offers a recreational option for local families, but is also presented as a tourist attraction with great potential, both for national and international visitors.
The infrastructure inaugurated by the Governor benefits more than 150 thousand people from Rioverde and Ciudad Fernández, as well as local, national and international tourists, who can now enjoy a modern main entrance, guardhouse, stables, rest areas, spaces for zumba, outdoor gyms, yoga, plazas, multipurpose courts, beach volleyball, children’s games and 5-a-side soccer fields, among other facilities.
This new linear park, which reinforces San Luis Potosí’s leadership as a tourist destination, is a clear example of Ricardo Gallardo’s commitment to the comprehensive development of the region, providing new recreational options and improving the quality of life of the people of San Luis Potosí.
