Berry “N”, 32 years old, originally from Holland, was arrested during a police operation in the first square of the city, after one of the members of the canine team sat in front of him and sniffed him insistently as a passive marking when recognizing odors of some illicit substance.

After the arrest, he was placed at the disposal of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Drug Dealing for probable crimes against health. This is the second arrest that has been made with the K9 teams in the city.

The first arrest was recorded on January 6, at the main entrance of the “ADO” bus terminal, located on Quinta Avenida and Avenida Benito Juárez, in the downtown neighborhood, in the municipality of Solidaridad. The canine team began to change attitude, moving its head from side to side and even pulling and barking, this as a sign that it was perceiving an aroma typical of narcotics.

Upon conducting the corresponding inspection of the subject, two square-shaped packages with transparent wrapping containing green and dry grass with characteristics of the drug commonly known as marijuana were seized.
