This January, Tulum becomes the epicenter of world haute cuisine with the launch of the Starlit Essence project by Grupo Zamná. This exclusive event promises diners a unique and ephemeral experience that will captivate the senses.
The event is headlined by Quique Dacosta, a renowned Spanish chef awarded seven Michelin stars. He presents a selection from his acclaimed restaurant Arros QD, one of Europe’s most recognized culinary establishments.
“Thank you Tulum for the wonderful welcome from @arrosqd. It is being a unique experience for all of us. For those who visit us, we work faithfully to our philosophy so that it is also a unique experience in a unique place. Thank you, team. Thank you family @zamna.music @zamna.group for the commitment to gastronomy. Long live Mexico!” wrote the Valencian chef on his Instagram account.
Arros QD offers a sensory journey that elevates Spanish culinary tradition to the next level. Chef Dacosta has curated a meticulously designed tasting menu to highlight Mediterranean flavors, with a special focus on rice, a cornerstone of Spanish cuisine.
The chef’s avant-garde techniques are combined with a tropical touch, inspired by fresh, local ingredients from the Yucatan Peninsula. This fusion creates dishes that honor the essence of the region.
Diners can enjoy three tasting menus featuring Arros QD’s most iconic dishes, showcasing Dacosta’s expertise in rice preparation. Each bite promises to be a celebration of Spanish and Mediterranean culinary culture, complemented by a carefully selected array of wines and mixology, specially crafted to pair with the evening’s gastronomic offerings.
Starlit Essence is hosted at the Blue Venado Tulum restaurant, located on the Tulum-Boca Paila coastal highway. The event will be available throughout January until February 2, offering lucky diners the chance to immerse themselves in Chef Dacosta’s culinary vision in one of the world’s most sought-after destinations. Reservations can be made at Starlit Essence
