The Imdem Skating and Skateboarding Circuit held its first event this year and the third date of the current calendar, at the skatepark of the Parque de la Juventud, with more than 10 participants, in both branches.
The third date also served the skaters to continue refining their technique, explained the technical coordinator of the circuit, Francisco Cuesta, since the next stage will be after the state of the 2025 Conade National Games.
Cuesta del Río also highlighted that the members of the Mazatlán Selection had a solid participation and some are practicing new tricks, so it is expected to take a strong representative to the state, which has a tentative date of the third week of February, with the objective of qualifying the majority of Mazatlán participants for the national stage of the 2025 Conade Games.
As part of the support for the different disciplines carried out by the Mazatlán Municipal Sports Institute, the coordinator of Leagues and Clubs, Marlén García Venegas, attended the competition and highlighted the return of children and young people to their favorite place.
“I am happy to have started this 2025 with the third stage of the Imdem Skating Circuit, as always, I am very excited to see young people playing sports and how parents get so excited to see their children’s participation,” she said.
